According to the researchers at the vpnMentor, highly sensitive personal details concerning several thousand webcam models have been leaked online by an adult website. vpnMentor found an open folder on the Amazon web server of PussyCash website. Branded as the “best adult affiliate program network”, PussyCash is a live webcam porn network and the owner of the brand ImLive as well as several other adult websites.

“The vpnMentor cybersecurity research team, led by Noam Rotem and Ran Locar, have uncovered a leaking S3 Bucket with 19.95GB of visible data on a Virginia-based Amazon server, belonging to PussyCash and its network,” wrote vpnMentor.

PussyCash hosts affiliation programs for multiple adult sites, paying webmasters for traffic sent to the sites through banners and exit traffic. They boast 66 million registered members on their webcam chat arena, ImLive, alone. Other sites include Sexier.com, FetishGalaxy, Supermen.com, Shemale.com, CamsCreative.center, forgetvanilla.com, idesires.com, Phonemates.com, SuperTrip.com, and sex.sex, among others.

While vpnMentor says that the webcam porn network website was responsible for the leak, PussyCash denied the allegations and added that it hasn’t found evidence of anyone accessing it. What’s more, the website immediately removed public access to the aforementioned data once the news about the leak was reported.

“Privacy and the protection of user data is a top priority and concern for us. For this reason, we acted promptly and removed public access to the open folder as soon as vpnMentor altered us to this fact,” said PussyCash.

vpnMentor highlighted the fact that the data leak contained key personal information of several models which included the following details: full name, SSN, address, date of birth, phone number, weight, height, hips, bust and waist measurements, piercings, tattoos, scars, and so on.

Moreover, among the 19.55 GB of data that was available, dating back from a few weeks to 15 years, one could also gain access to the scanned copies of passport, driving license, credit card, and birth certificate. Finally, the leaked data contained a few videos, marketing materials, clips and screenshots of a few video chats alongside an array of photographs as well.

The models whose details were a part of the said leak belonged to regions such as North America, Latin America, the Czech Republic, and Hungary, as reported by vpnMentor. It is worth noting that exposure of this data could pose a serious threat of identity theft, public humiliation, extortion, job loss, blackmail, and embarrassment.

As to why the vpnMentor stumbled across the finding on PussyCash’s web server, it was revealed that the VPN-company was running a “huge web mapping project” that involved port scanning and examining “particular IP blocks” for weaknesses and data leaks.
