Twitch offers the possibility for viewers to make donations to support content creators and it even has a subscription system built-in.
However, all this is optional – viewers don’t have to subscribe to content, even though some streamers on the platform may prefer that they did.
One streamer has been called out for an apparent belief that everyone watching her stream should pay for the privilege.
“I was banned from her stream for asking, “Do I have to be a sub to do these boxfights?” Twitter user gh0stty_ said.

The streamer in question was SavageBabyDoll who then asked moderators, “Can you ban every little poor person who can’t afford a sub?”
Soon after, viewers who hadn’t paid up were removed from the channel as bans were dished out to those who were watching for free.

The controversy spread to other networks
The great backlash that the streamer has received after her behavior was talked about online has been sufficient cause for her to decide to delete her previous broadcasts.
