In a few weeks, YouTube will be fully deprecating its old channel management tool Creator Studio Classic and replacing it with the new YouTube Studio system.
YouTube says the tool has already been deprecated for 10% of creators and some creators are receiving notifications which tell them theyโll be losing access to Creator Studio Classic before the end of the month.

But as YouTube forces creators to start using this new YouTube Studio system, many are reporting that itโs riddled with issues that force them to go through extra steps or freeze their video uploads.
Independent journalist Tim Pool tweeted that the new YouTube Studio system is โawfulโ and forces creators to walk through a series of steps that were previously accessible on a single page.
Pool also notes that this new YouTube Studio system โhides key functions.โ

Comedian Count Dankula wrote that he tried to use the new YouTube Studio system but it froze his upload at 0% processing multiple times.

Gaming YouTuber TearofGrace has also reported similar issues with the new YouTube Studio system and tweeted that his video froze for eight hours on the initial upload and 10 hours on the attempted reupload.

YouTube has been updating and adding features to the new YouTube Studio system as it rolls out to more creators.
However, with these issues still prevalent just a few weeks before the YouTube Studio system becomes the only channel management tool thatโs available, many creators could be faced with the prospect of having to use a tool that they find inferior to Creator Studio Classic.
