How Big Tech pushes the idea that free expression is only about internet “access” while it censors content

Google, the tech juggernaut that’s known to rig search results, blacklist and downrank people and ideas, and that also owns the world’s biggest video platform, YouTube – another massive hotbed of censorship – would like you to know that “the most common forms” of censorship aren’t even that obvious.

We’re not told which ones, then, are “obvious,” but we do learn that a Google-owned think tank called Jigsaw believes the real problem is in outdated standards and insufficiently private internet connections.
