In 2023, everyone wants to scan your face

When it comes to privacy-undermining policies, particularly those tightly coupled with biometrics and deployed by the government and air travel industry in the US, the trend does not seem to be likely to stop deteriorating, i.e., expanding, let alone improving any time soon.

In fact, some observers believe there is now enough evidence that 2023 will be the year when passengers will find it “nearly impossible” to stay out of facial recognition schemes used at US airports.
