One wouldn’t think it could be possible for an Instagram “influencer” to have too many followers, but an exhibition by Dries Depoorter demonstrates how influencers – and for that matter, everybody else – have quite a few more “followers” than they are aware of, or have bargained for, when out in public.

Those always watching, unlike other people, are the now omnipresent networked surveillance cameras.
