Airbnb, a leading online rentals broker, is in the habit of running extensive background checks on its clients that often result in permanent bans over years-old trivial transgressions.

The “offenses” in question here include things like broken tail lights and having an unleashed dog run into the street a decade ago, wrote Motherboard.
