The looming threat of antitrust isn’t deterring Big Tech censorship

? The tech companies now seem even more emboldened to demonstrate the censorship power that they hold.

Big Tech censorship has been a pervasive problem for many years with five companies – Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter – maintaining a stranglehold on the distribution of content online and regularly wielding this power to censor content that they deem to be “hate speech,” “harmful,” “misinformation,” or somehow violative of their terms.

This year, the censorship has reached unprecedented levels with tech platforms mass censoring discussions of the coronavirus and Twitter even censoring President Trump multiple times.
