How agencies that worked to get prominent Democrats elected are switching their focus to defending Big Tech

The wide-ranging and mutually beneficial synergy (some would say collusion) between Big Tech and big, permanent power centers in the US is old news. What is new are all the different and nuanced ways in which this phenomenon manifests.

Now, this alliance appears to be under some strain thanks to several antitrust bills making their way through the House and the Senate. It has been revealed that the same lobbying firms hired by Democrats during election campaigns are helping Big Tech fight against – Democrat-proposed legislation. And in some cases these firms are effectively targeting ads against the bills endorsed by the same politicians they previously helped elect.
