Articles 11 and 13 Lose Support From Key Member States Days Before Final EU Council Vote
Sweden and Estonia are signaling that they will vote against Articles 11 and 13 of the EU Copyright Directive in the final Council vote.

Article 13 Has Been Approved by the European Parliament
The EU Copyright Directive, which includes Articles 11 and 13, was approved by 348 votes to 274 and the final text will now be sent to the EU Council for approval.

In a joint statement, these countries have stated that “the end-result on copyright is a step back for the digital single market.”
