OpenAI seems to be dabbling in suppressing pre-crime – that’s one way of summing up the organization’s effort, a report it has put together to “forecast potential misuses” of language models when powering “disinformation campaigns.”

And around the same time the report was announced, the topic also cropped up at the World Economic Forum (WEF) gathering in Davos.
