Free speech video sharing platform Rumble has announced that media executive and award-winning producer Nancy Armstrong will serve on its board of directors after it goes public.

Rumble is expected to go public this quarter via a proposed merger with Cantor Fitzgerald-sponsored CF Acquisition Corp. VI (CFVI). After completing the merger, the company will be known as Rumble Inc. and will be publicly listed.

Armstrong has more than 20 years of experience in the media industry and is the founder and executive producer of Happy Warrior Media. She recently launched the award-winning film on attention deficit disorder (ADHD), The Disruptors. Previously, she co-founded MAKERS, the largest women’s video and media platform and library. MAKERS was named one of the 100 best websites for women by Forbes and received the Women’s Media Center Award for its ground-breaking contribution to women, history, and America.

“Rumble has the three key ingredients of success for the future of media – great content, great technology scale and distribution, and a business model that is creator-first,” Armstrong said. “I am excited to bring my deep experience in the media industry to the Rumble board of directors, a company positioned to democratize media with a proven leadership team and vision for the future.”

Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski added: “We are excited for Nancy to join our board. Nancy’s experience as a media executive and independent media creator will be critical in guiding us toward building our core ecosystem. I am also happy that she shares our passion for a free and open internet and firmly believes in Rumble’s mission.”

The announcement of Armstrong’s nomination to join Rumble’s board of directors follows the platform having several big wins through exclusive content on its video sharing platform.

It recently partnered with Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) to bring exclusive live content, including exclusive featured live stream coverage of former President Donald Trump’s rallies, to Rumble. Rumble said that last weekend’s RSBN coverage of Trump’s rally in Anchorage, Alaska had over two million raw viewers on Rumble.

The political documentary 2000 Mules was also launched directly on Rumble and its membership platform Locals in May. It racked up over a million views and more than $10 million in revenue which reportedly made it the biggest political documentary in decades.

In addition to its success with exclusive content, Rumble has open-sourced its free speech rules and revealed that it plans to open its cloud services product, Rumble Cloud, to all users next year.
