Video platform Rumble has revealed that former President Trump’s Truth Social platform has become the first publisher to join its advertising platform, Rumble Ads.

Truth Social will be using Rumble’s Advertising Center to serve ads on its platform and advertisers can access and bid on Truth Social traffic via this advertising center.

Rumble secured Truth Social as a client for its advertising platform one day after Rumble Ads launched in beta as a challenger to Big Tech’s ad dominance. While the tech giants that dominate online advertising often lock out advertisers and publishers, Rumble has committed to free speech.

“We are excited to have Truth Social as our very first publisher on the Rumble Ad platform,” Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski said. “A significant part of the internet is now served through the Rumble ecosystem, which gives advertisers a new place to target customers aligned with our mission to fight back against cancel culture. We look forward to proving the incredible size and performance of this market.”

The partnership allows advertisers to connect with Truth Social’s large, rapidly growing audience. Since releasing its US iPhone app in February, Truth Social’s app has been downloaded at least three million times. According to web analytics service SimilarWeb, Truth Social gets over seven million visits per month.

“By partnering with Rumble Ads, Truth Social is poised to displace the Big Tech platforms as a superior venue for businesses to connect with an extraordinarily engaged audience of millions of real people,” Trump Media and Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes said.

This is the second partnership between the companies. Rumble Cloud, Rumble’s cloud web hosting service, also powers Truth Social.

Both platforms have experienced massive growth as users seek out alternatives to the Big Tech platforms that increasingly restrict what users are allowed to say.

Truth Social, which was announced after Big Tech platforms engaged in never before seen acts of censorship by booting Trump from their platforms while he was still a sitting US President, is one of the few social media platforms where Trump still has an active presence. It has topped the US App Store multiple times and recently had a big boost in users after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

Rumble has consistently set watch time and traffic records. Most recently, its monthly active users hit a new record and increased by 76% year-on-year to an average of 44 million monthly active users for Q2 2022.
