Incognito Mode – One of the Sneakiest Big Tech Lies

Busting the myth.

Digital privacy has become a highly sought-after commodity. Amidst rising concerns, many have turned to Incognito Mode on their browsers, hoping to shield their online footprints from prying eyes. However, this popular feature may not be the knight in shining armor many believe it to be. Far from it actually.

Incognito Mode, known also as Private Browsing or Privacy Mode in different browsers, is a feature designed to provide a semblance of privacy during a browsing session. When activated, this mode ensures that the browser does not store browsing history, cookies, or form data. This is particularly handy for one-off searches, or using a shared computer where you’d prefer to leave no trace of your digital endeavors.
