Cars are about to become a surveillance nightmare

Legislative frameworks are being introduced on both sides of the Atlantic to regulate the future of cars – specifically, the way private citizens will be able, or allowed to use them in the not-so-distant future.

In the US, the new rules shaping up around this are contained in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act which enjoys bipartisan support and was passed last November.
