Hillary Clinton blames the dark web for her 2016 election loss

Politicians not understanding how the internet works is a major contention for many, but at least it sometimes gives us some comedy gold.

Former US Secretary of State and 2016 residential candidate Hillary Clinton is now blaming “flashing videos” on the “dark web” for the reason she didn’t win the presidential election.

On Campaign HQ’s podcast, Clinton said that she thinks President Trump will use the same strategy to win the election in November 2020.

“I think it’s going to be the same as 2016,” she said. “Don’t vote for the other guy. You don’t like me. Don’t vote for the other guy, because the other guy is going to do X, Y, and Z. Or the other guy did such terrible things. I’m going to show you in these flashing videos that appear and then disappear and they’re on the dark web and nobody can find them, but you’re going to see them and you’re going to see that person doing these horrible things.”

No one appears to understand what Secretary Clinton means by this or whether she at all understands what the “dark web” actually is.

It seems the only way Clinton could imagine people not liking her is if they were somehow brainwashed.
