Technitium DNS Server is a free, open-source DNS server you host yourself for privacy and control. It works as an authoritative, recursive, and forwarding resolver and can block ads and trackers using blocklists. It supports encrypted DNS over HTTPS, TLS, and QUIC, both for upstream queries and for serving your own clients. The cross-platform software is managed through a web console and the source is released under the GPLv3. It is maintained by Technitium, run by developer Shreyas Zare in India.

Strengths
