Stanford University Has Become a Hub Of Government-Funded Censorship Projects

It's currently being challenged over lack of disclosures.

Stanford University is the latest in a parade of big-name institutions that are getting themselves even more heavily in mix of "governing" (and presumably "defining") what information people should be able to access.

Another name for this is, and critics have no problem spelling it out - censorship - and they see the decision of an educational institution to get involved in such a thing is of particular concern.

Because, in a certain social and political climate, "war is peace" - and the initiative Stanford is joining is called, "Project Liberty Institute." Of course it is.

And its goal is said to be to strengthen democracy - apparently through (even more) online censorship, that should not be as "haphazard" as it is now - but defined and essentially institutionalized, i.e., formalized.
