A new type of “wearables” is emerging, only this time, these devices are not worn on, but under, the skin.

Those mentioning this type of technology – injectable chips that constantly monitor an array of health-related parameters, but can be designed as a form of identification – in a negative context run the risk of being branded as conspiracy theorists or at least technophobes.
