“Fact checker” deletes Twitter account after comments saying Monsey attack on Jews was “complicated”

An NBC News “fact checker” Erin Biba has deleted her Twitter account after facing backlash for her shocking comments about the attack on Jews that took place in Monsey, New York, over the weekend.

Erin Biba lectured followers on Twitter about how the stabbing of five Jews during a Hanukkah celebration in Monsey, NY was “*massively complicated*” and that, at the time, without knowing who the perpetrator of the attack was, people should take the time to stand in solidarity against “white supremacy”.

Biba’s inflammatory comments at a time when others in the Jewish community was reeling from the attack, earned her a great deal of backlash online, calling her out for her comments.
