Ensu is Ente's offline chat app that runs open models entirely on your device so your conversations never touch a network. It is available on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux, built on a shared Rust core, which makes it one of the few polished local options for phones. Everything is open source under AGPL-3.0, from the same team behind Ente Photos and Ente Auth. Because it runs on-device, there is no server that could log or read your prompts. An optional Ente account adds end-to-end encrypted sync if you want your history on more than one device.
