Notesnook is fully open source under GPL-3.0 and encrypts everything client-side with XChaCha20-Poly1305 and Argon2 so your notes leave your device already sealed. Unlike Standard Notes it hands you a rich-text editor and one-click imports from Evernote, OneNote, Google Keep and others on the free plan. The team is a small, Pakistan-based company funded purely by subscriptions rather than investors. The main caveats are that Pakistan's jurisdiction may not suit every threat model and, while the code is open, there is no headline third-party audit yet.
