You download the regions you need once, then search and navigate with everything running on your device so not a single byte about your route leaves your phone. It handles driving, walking, and cycling, and includes dedicated hiking and cycling layers that make it a favorite for the outdoors. Turn-by-turn navigation is solid, if less polished than Google Maps and there is no live traffic. It passed 6 million installs in late 2025 and remains one of the cleanest privacy-first map apps available.
