The invasive tracking tech of the post-COVID world

Lockdowns and shutdowns as the answer to the coronavirus epidemic that governments resorted to, have proved unsustainable as far as the economy goes.

But as the health scare persists, so do some other measures designed to counter it, such as distancing between people. To ensure this, more and more companies and schools in the US are turning to employing various forms of invasive surveillance, mostly through mandating that people wear tracking devices as a way to trace contact.
