Big Tech’s double standard on “conspiracy theories” when they come from mainstream media

? "Conspiracy theories" are fine when they come from the mainstream media.

Over the last couple of years, Big Tech platforms have consistently changed their rules to stamp out what they deem to be "conspiracy theories" and "misinformation."

This process has accelerated amid the coronavirus outbreak with the tech giants introducing a series of sweeping rule changes that ban anything that goes against the World Health Organization (WHO), denial of "expert guidance" about the virus, posts advocating for the drug hydroxychloroquine, and more.

In addition to censoring users that challenge mainstream coronavirus talking points, Big Tech platforms have also boosted mainstream media outlets during the pandemic by making them up to 20x more likely to top coronavirus search results and giving them billions of impressions through prominent homepage placements.

Not only do these changes elevate mainstream media outlets while other users are suppressed but these mainstream outlets have also taken advantage of Big Tech's conspiracy crackdown to orchestrate censorship campaigns against Plandemic's Dr. Judy Mikovits, author and public speaker David Icke, and many others.
