YouTube has permanently banned a Christian channel called theDove. The Google-owned video sharing platform banned the channel for “repeated violations” of its policies.

YouTube’s campaign against independent views continues, with one of the latest victims being theDove.

From theDove:

“On March 22, 2021 theDove was permanently banned from YouTube. Over 15,000 interviews and segments have been posted to YouTube and theDove has experienced millions of views. In today’s cancel culture YouTube has deleted every video.”

YouTube claims the channel was banned for violations of its presidential election integrity and COVID-19 misinformation policies.

“In accordance with our long standing three-strikes system, we terminated the channel theDove for repeatedly violating our COVID-19 misinformation and presidential election integrity policies,” a YouTube spokesperson said.

The three-strikes system results in permanent banning of a channel if the platform’s policies are violated three times within a 90-day period.

In February, YouTube also permanently banned another Christian channel, LifeSiteNews. At the time, YouTube did not explain why the channel was banned.
