It strips IP addresses from your mail, asks for no personal details at signup, and keeps your payment information separate from your account so you can pay close to anonymously. Its opt-in encrypted mailbox is the only one in this group that protects metadata as well as message content. It can extend that cover to your contacts and calendar. The one asterisk is that the strongest encryption is opt-in rather than on by default.
