A popular creator whoโ€™s a member of the popular channel NELK Boys and is known for uploading viral game challenge videos under the SteveWillDoIt brand, has joined the free speech video sharing platform Rumble.

Steve made the announcement alongside Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski and financial commentator Matt Kohrs during a live stream from the Nasdaq.

โ€œIโ€™m excited to be on Rumble,โ€ Steve said. โ€œIโ€™m excited to not be afraid of getting canceled for random reasons and Iโ€™m excited to make videos again, help people, and just do my shit and itโ€™s gonna beโ€ฆan amazing thing.โ€

Before joining Rumble, Steve had built a popular SteveWillDoIt channel on YouTube which had over four million subscribers. However, in August, YouTube suddenly deleted his channel for alleged โ€œsevere or repeated violations.โ€

The NELK Boys have also been targeted by YouTube with the tech giant demonetizing their channel and deleting their massively popular interview with President Trump.

โ€œI cannot imagine the emotional whiplash you went through when just one company, the empire you built, theyโ€™re like, โ€˜eh, no more,โ€™ just Thanos snapped it,โ€ Kohrs said when discussing YouTubeโ€™s termination of Steveโ€™s channel.

โ€œThanos snapped it and it wasnโ€™t for legitimate reasons,โ€ Steve said in response. โ€œIt was forโ€ฆI couldnโ€™t tell you why.โ€

In a separate interview with Dave Rubin, the co-founder of Rumbleโ€™s subscription-based community platform, Locals, Steve described how YouTube didnโ€™t give him any advance warning that his channel was going to be deleted and only called him on the day of deletion.

โ€œThey called me the day of deletion and it was a girl and she seemed pretty stoked I was getting deleted,โ€ Steve said. โ€œShe seemed happyโ€ฆYouโ€™re giving someone the worst news possible andโ€ฆyouโ€™re happy. It was kind of just fucked up.โ€

Steve said heโ€™s excited that Rumble will allow him to keep doing what he loves without worrying about his videos being deleted.

โ€œI can go to bed knowing that when I wake up, my videoโ€™s not gonna be deleted,โ€ Steve said. โ€œAnd if thereโ€™s any issues, thereโ€™s gonna be communication. That was one thing they [YouTube] didnโ€™t do. They didnโ€™t communicate. They didnโ€™t give a fuck.โ€

Rumble CEO Pavlovski said: โ€œWeโ€™ve got a lot of work ahead of us butโ€ฆI canโ€™t wait toโ€ฆshow what Steveโ€™s gonna doโ€ฆNow heโ€™s gonna do videos where he is gonna be completely authentic. Heโ€™s gonna be real Steve all the time.โ€

Pavlovski also blasted the growing restrictions on YouTube that force creators to self-censor:

โ€œRight nowโ€ฆyou have to be careful of what you say, you have toโ€ฆbe concerned whatโ€™s gonna come out of your mouth, you gotta like tiptoe around it. If youโ€™re on YouTube, youโ€™re not authentic anymore. Youโ€™re not being fair to your audience because youโ€™re being fake, essentially.

โ€œWhereas on Rumble, you can be completely authenticโ€ฆAnd I think thatโ€™sโ€ฆa really important thing thatโ€ฆweโ€™re pushing right now is authenticity. Andโ€ฆhaving someone like Steve lead the way over here is gonna be pretty fun. So I canโ€™t wait for that first video. I think weโ€™re gonna break the internet with that one.โ€

Steve said that heโ€™ll post new videos weekly when he starts uploading to Rumble. Pavlovski added that Steve will also be posting vlogs to Locals, Rumbleโ€™s sister platform to build communities.

โ€œIโ€™m tryna make just the absolute best content, once a week, everyโ€ฆsingle week, one video, 25 minutes,โ€ Steve said. โ€œAnd then Iโ€™ll be doing just daily vlogs as my lifestyle, Locals [content]. The Locals thing is just like for the subscriptions, is just like for the hardcore fans. So thereโ€™s gonna be a lot of content from me on there.โ€

Rumble has differentiated itself from the worldโ€™s biggest video sharing platform, YouTube, by vowing to allow its creators to speak freely. As Rumble has committed to free and open dialogue, YouTube has expanded its censorship rules. Rumbleโ€™s pro-free speech stance has contributed to its record growth and has resulted in many popular creators embracing the platform.
