Raechel Allan-Nicholls, a businesswoman from Kelowna, a city in British Columbia, had her personal Facebook account and the Instagram page of her business suspended. She believes the accounts were suspended because she is an admin for Freedom Convoy 2022 Facebook group.

Allan-Nicholls runs Big Deal Detailing, a vehicle detailing business, through her personal and business accounts on Facebook. She told local news outlet Coast Reporter that she no longer has access to her account.

“I have no access to my business account. I’ve written letters, I’ve gone through every possible avenue, I can think of trying to get my account back up and running,” she said.

She believes that her account was locked because she is an admin for Freedom Convoy 2022.

“I searched for all my contacts and they’re all gone too. I’m kind of at a loss for words. And, I didn’t do anything wrong in the sense of, you know, they don’t have any justification for shutting my account down,” she explained.

She also said that her Instagram account is locked. She explained that her business page would also be gone, only she made someone else the admin. “If I hadn’t, my account would be completely gone. I mean, it’s gone on Instagram, I no longer have a Big Deal Detailing and that’s how I do all my business.”
