/e/OS is the most mainstream de-Googled Android, built by the France-based e Foundation and its commercial arm Murena. It swaps Google Play services for microG, blocks trackers, scores each app’s privacy, and routes DNS and time servers away from Google. You can flash it onto a wide range of phones or buy a Fairphone, Shiftphone or refurbished handset with it pre-installed. Security hardening is lighter than GrapheneOS and microG can trip up apps that demand real Play Integrity. It’s the easiest on-ramp for someone who wants Google out of their phone without much fuss.
