On Tuesday, free speech video sharing platform Rumble announced that it had reached new highs in terms of user engagement in the week ending January 9, 2022.
According to a blog post by the company, it recorded the highest weekly video bandwidth consumption as well as the highest number of videos posted in a week.
These records come shortly after Dan Bongino’s Rumble channel reached 2 million subscribers (more than double the subscription on YouTube).
Last week, Senator Rand Paul also announced he was dropping YouTube for Rumble.
Rumble is an alternative to YouTube that is preferred by those who are tired of Big Tech’s censorship. Per its website, Rumble “ is a high-growth neutral video platform that is creating the rails and independent infrastructure designed to be immune to cancel culture.”
Rumble’s mission “is to restore the internet to its roots by making it free and open again.”
