Nunchuk is a Bitcoin-only wallet built around multisig and collaborative custody, aimed at people who want serious self-custody without KYC. You always hold your own keys, since Nunchuk is a software provider and not a custodian and it supports single-sig and multisig setups such as 2-of-3 or 3-of-5. It works with a wide range of hardware and air-gapped signers, including COLDCARD, TAPSIGNER, Blockstream Jade, SeedSigner, Ledger, and Trezor, and can connect to your own node over Tor. Extras include decoy wallets, coin control, and inheritance planning via on-chain timelocks. The apps and core SDK are open source (GPL-3), though the backend that syncs collaborative wallets is proprietary; keys never leave your control regardless. Base self-custody is free, with optional paid tiers for assisted and collaborative custody.

  • Decoy wallets, coin control, and inheritance planning
