Anytype – a privacy and security-friendly and open source, cross-platform app that its makers say is for those who “celebrate trust and autonomy” – has entered the public beta stage of development in mid-July.

The program’s use cases cover a large number of productivity tasks, and it is sometimes described as a “personal” CRM (customer relationship management) app.
